There’s a lot of chairs out on the market, but this one really stood out to me. Not because it looks good or anything, but actually because there’s so many different feedback for it.
I wanted to debunk these reviews and find out what the problem is, why is this chair getting some really bad remarks when some are giving it flawless stars?

This chair was designed for basic use, such as browsing the internet, chatting with friends online, or studying etc. Because it has a mid-back, it is best use for smaller work spaces and probably best used for smaller people too.
The manufacturers claim that JUST because it’s small, it doesn’t take away the appeal and efficiency/features that it provides.
It is an executive chair so it has the upright tilt lock option, meaning you can unlock it and relax in the chair or sit up, lock it into place and start browsing the internet again.
What Ultimate Benefits Does This Product Provide?
I couldn’t really find anything that was so great about this chair, it looks just like another basic office chair that has the lock feature.
The only good think I could see was that it’s easy to put together and can be assembled within 20 minutes even by a newbie, sometimes less if you know what you’re doing.
And because it’s so lightweight. A lot of other office chairs are really heavy (over 40 pounds).

Who This Chair Is For
It will work good as an extra chair in a conference room or where it won’t be used for long. If you want it for a decoration or ‘space filler’ then this is definitely something to consider.
I would say sitting on it for a few hours a week would be enough to make it last longer than it would otherwise.
Who This Chair Is NOT For
This chair is not for anyone over 6’2″ and weighing more than 200 pounds. Even the manufacturers warn people that if this chair has been used for 8 hours a day and by someone weighing over 225 pounds, it won’t last long.
Not in those exact words but when you read between the lines that’s exactly what they are saying.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- I find that this chair will make a good decoration. And since it’s affordable it will make a great choice for a child’s bedroom
- The tilt option makes it so you can lean back when you want a break from your work and lock it back into place when you want to use it again
Cons
- The cushioning will not last long, especially if it’s been used excessively
- There’s no lower back support and the only support you do get is created from low quality plastic (arm rests)
- A lot of people saying that the back of this chair is not as tall as it looks in the pictures
- The entire chair is low quality and won’t even last 1 year it is being used everyday
Do I Recommend This Chair?
The only support for your health is the arm rests, which are flimsy and low quality.
You will be lucky if this chair lasts you 6 months before anything breaks on it, especially if you’re excessively using it (all day use).
I have actually had a chair similar to this and the cushioning doesn’t last long, I would say that the cushioning in this chair won’t last that long either.
This chair is not recommended, even for this price I still wouldn’t buy it. There’s higher quality options within the same price range that will be a better choice.
Similar Chairs
If you want a leather chair that will be a much better option and not going to break on you within the first 6 months then I can suggest you check out the AmazonBasics Mid-Back Office Chair.
It’s not the BEST alternative but it is still much better than the Mid Back Black Leather and roughly the same price too.
I like the Serta Executive Office Chair, which is actually in the same price range and much better quality. It is more suited for you if you want something to sit in for long periods of time.
The only downside, it’s not the same leather upholstery like the other chairs mentioned.
My Final Opinion
At the end of the day, it will make a good floater or conference chair, and will easily pass the eye test.
Anywhere that will only require a couple hours a week to sit on, that’s all I see this chair working good for.
Other than that, if you want it for your main office it’s a waste of money. There is absolutely know support for your lower back and it won’t even last long.
