It isn’t the best quality in the world, so I would say it’s a good choice for a ‘space filler’ or a decoration since it has a great design.
A child’s bedroom will also be a great choice for this desk to be in. Kids don’t really use their desks often so I can see it working easily.
This desk is also a good choice for a student who wants to study or get homework done.
Who This Desk Is NOT For
This desk is not good for home office owners or small business owners.
The quality isn’t the greatest so it’s not going to last you that long.
Or basically if anyone plans to use this for long periods of time while having heavy items on it and expecting it to last a long time. Then it isn’t for you.

Pros
- The wood is hollow, making it super lightweight, as you can probably see
- Simple to set up. Even a newbie can put this desk up in 30 minutes
- Makes a perfect choice for anyone over 6 feet since the desk sits taller than most
- It is surprisingly roomy even though it doesn’t look like it in the pictures
- I like the storage compartments, which means you don’t have to open drawers to get your items. They make a good area for a computer tower as well
Cons
- If you have an executive chair it might not fit in the specified seating area
- Made from the cheapest particleboard you can find, making it very low quality and more than likely not going to last long
- A lot of people complaining about it turning up damaged with holes or scratches
Do I Recommend This Desk?
That’s an easy no.
Sure, it will be a good choice for someone who doesn’t mind a cheap desk with cheap material, such as a student or a child’s bedroom.
If you want to use this for a space filler then this is also recommended for you.
However if you want a desk to fit in your professional-looking home office or small business then this desk is not recommended.
Similar Desks
The Altra The Works “L” shaped desk is my recommended choice for you. It’s A LOT more durable and better quality. Because of the “L” shape you have more desk top space. And it’s roughly the same price, making it a no-brainer. It just doesn’t contain the storage areas.
There’s another desk, however there is no storage areas either, but much better quality than the Altra Parsons and also the same price as the desks mentioned above. Then you need to read my review on the Walker Edison Soreno 3-Piece desk.
My Final Opinion
In all honesty, there are just too many people complaining about it turning up damaged, when this shouldn’t even be happening from the start.
Yes you CAN send it back for a new one but the same problem will probably just happen again.
Then you have to put it back into the huge box it came in and send it back, I just think this is a big waste of time, especially when you can just spend your money on a high quality desk from the get-go.
All in all, it is an ‘okay’ desk and good for a decoration since it has good modern design and awesome Black Oak finish, and best fitted for a student or child.
